This Life is NOT a Dress Rehearsal....

....but the Nutcracker does get a dress rehearsal- trying on costumes, make-up, hair. It is a big production with over 80 dancers and 6 professional dancers hired from up North.

  2. Louise- they have an Act 1 outreach for 1,000 public school kids (field trip) Friday morning- Girl #1 was chosen to demonstrate the soldier dance during the info section. Then, they have a dress rehearsal Friday evening, two performances Saturday and one on Sunday- then, we collapse :) and find a Nutcracker to watch and enjoy AFTER Thanksgiving

  9. One of my favorite childhood memory was the Nutcracker that our local dance studio put on. My father helped design and paint the sets.

  10. They both look like they are ready to perform. And they do it so well. The costumes are beautiful and it shows what hard work MAMA had to do. A sacrifice of love. Have fun and break a leg girls. Not you Mom, you have to drive somewhere.
