prayers for feast days

Save, O Lord, Thy people and bless Thine inheritance, granting them victory over their enemies; And by Thy Cross, do Thou, protect Thy commonwealth.

Lifted up of Thine own will upon the Cross, do Thou bestow Thy compassions upon the new commonwealth, that bears Thy name, O Christ our God, make glad with Thy strength, our pious rulers, granting them victory over their enemies; may they have as an alliance, that invincible trophy, Thy weapon of peace.

Lenten Prayer of Saint Ephreim
O Lord and Master of my life, take from me the spirit of sloth, despondency, lust of power and idle chatter.
Instead, grant to me, Your servant, the spirit of wholeness of being, humility, patience and love.
Yes, O Lord and King, grant that I may be aware of my sins and not judge my brother. Blessed are You to the ages of ages. Amen

  1. I love seeing your website. I can feel my soul respond to the writings .I have not made the change from the Roman rite but have considered quite often the possibility.Your website fuels the knowledge I need to aid my decision. While raising our children it is always whether or not they could transition well. We are a very large traditional Roman rite family ,in a non-traditional culture and world. I want the children to have Faith .

    1. I appreciate your comment, anonymous, because I too feel called to either make the transition or become bi-ritual (if that's possible for the laity). I would like to know if you have made the "change" in the last four-and-a-half-years, how it has encouraged your family, how your relatives took it, and how your RC parish priest took it?

  2. anonymous- God bless you on your journey!

  3. I am amazed that there are only 2 comments here so far, I think this is at least the number 2 best website the web has to offer, easy to find on search engines, and one of the very best things/people in the world, wife of a priest, only recently have I come to know that, but the key I in the married priesthood. Please continue to help more young men be priests and married! Hopefully they will have sons of their own raised in a good mental environment for them. Here is my website to show how I am helping them, it is not a real church just a practice website I am creating as I explore the new Rite I wish to become, but due to disability, can only explore right now...
